Mend Qualcast Classic Petrol Mower

Qualcast classic petrol - cannot push mower when engine switched off?

The roller will not turn when pushing mower without the engine (e.g. from garage to lawn, it just locks up)

That's not the answer in my case. I removed the drive belt but it still happens. I also replaced the Nylon drive gear and shaft. Still no joy!

common problem could just be the drive belt picking up try pulling it backwards then push forwards might free it off briefly or try loosening the drive cable adjuster
