Mend Renault Modus Temperature 20 30

Temperature display fault Renault Modus?

My Modus displays the temperature at various levels around 20 - 30 degrees below the actual temprerature. Is there a DIY fix?

Put your fingers under the drivers side mirror you feel it there,
I know I bought a modus !

Replace the ambient temperature sensor. I think it is probably located in one of the door mirrors.
