Ignis dishwasher?

Dish washer was working well and soon as started daring water, it flooded the kitchen. In a panic, I turned the dishwasher switch off to avoid further flooding. From that moment, there seems to be no electric power going into the machine. Electric socket and fuse is fine. Can you help please
