How can I open the door of my Beko WMXD 760W washing machine?

Have just completed a wash in my Beko WMXD 760W washing machine. There were no problems with the washing cycle at all. Now for some reason the door will not open. I have checked the filter at the bottom right hand corner of the machine and it was not clogged up. Any help to fix the problem is most welcome.
