alarm fault on sl8 panel with keypad?

replaced remote keypad. can access the engineers mode but cannot test passives or outside bell. when the panel is armed the exit tone continues to beep. when usuing quick set the panel arms within 5 seconds. another problem is the day light does not go out when testing but goes out whet the system is set
