How to repair Toshiba stereo cassette player KT-S1?

I can play the radio using the radio insert but the cassette player wheels don't turn when I want to play a cassette.
The unit works from batteries and DC charge.
Is there a place where I can have it checked? Probably a bet - since it is 30+ years old.
