Problems with Hotpoint WMA31?

1. Recent build-up of a rust-coloured deposit on inside of front door glass (near bottom edge) - is this serious?
2. Incident of heavy foaming inside machine, accompanied by a leak of foam which appeared on floor by machine's bottom L corner. Machine stayed on wash indefinitely and I had to move it to a rinse programme.
