Mend PRD pipe Leak Pipe Shower

prd pipe?

The clear PRD pipe is releasing water instead of the shower head.

How do I stop this?

I have read that there should be a small rubber ball in the tube but can someone please confirm.

Yes the ball is designed to pop out if there is a restriction in the flexible hose or the shower head,unfortunately it is white and tends to disappear down the plug hole.The pipe is replaceable
