Veritas 2004 model keeps going into temper ?

engineer came out For the yearly inspection after he left about 4 hours later the alarm keeps going off inside the home you can only hear the buzzer inside the home but not outside and then when you key in your password you can see the temper mode light is red but when you hit reset it disappears and keeps doing this for 2 hours. How do i stop this can someone help me
