how can i fix a projector problem my self?

I have a sanyo PROxtraX multiverse projector model no:PLX-XW55A. Departing, power light pass red to green.Everything seems normal,the fan starts to rotate. Problem:The projector lamp will not light ,after a few moments power light pass from green to red and starts flashing until the fan stop working and the power light remains fixed in red. Can try again, but each time it's the same thing. There was no warning signal in this history. Please help me.
