MY SD Card is not working and not formatting. ?

I have 2 GB Sundisk SD card. this card is not open any computer massage is display the disk in jrive j is not formatted do you want to format it now?
i want to take yes and than start format but next massage display Windows was unable to complete the format.
i want use CMD
type format J:
but after enter is display a massage "the type of file system is RAW. Please use the /FS switch to specify the file system you wish to use on this volume."
so please tall me how to formate my sd card step by step.
