How do I reassemble my whirlpool oven door? Model : RBD305PDQ14?

I had to replace the glass on my oven door. Watched videos. Took door off, unscrewed and took off cover. Put in new glass. Now I can't get the cover to go back on.....I've worked on it for almost 4 hours!! I can get the front on, but then the back end won't go on or vice versa! Any ideas?
