Hotpoint WD 440 noisy Drum?

if you knock the lid backwards with you hand it will come off but it sounds like the bearings have gone

my auntie has an aquarious wf440 and it set on fire at the plug only one year old, they came out and fixed and told her to put one of thsoe cut out things on it. the whole plug area is black and the fire travled up the wall. she has had other problems with it, i wouldn't reccoment anyone buying it brititsh made, always buy german they are made like british used to make products about 20-30 years ago they must be deliberately making the items wear down quicker so that you keep buying more from them thats how they make their money.
