Dimplex cube fire?

RE Dimplex Cube The lubricating the bearings idea below didn't work at all the fan still just sits there doing nothing it still wont spin and worse now it stinks of wd40 when ever you turn it on! haha, so at least iv saved anyone else trying this fix for no reason. DON'T BOTHER!. Hope a fix comes out soon as these are nice little fires just a shame they don't work for very long other than as a lamp!

My fire has the same problem i am going to try lubricating the bearings of the fan from underneath with a can of WD40 using the red straw thing to direct the spray into either end of the long cylindrical fan veiwable when the unit is upside down. UNPLUG first!! Allow time for any fumes to dissipate before turning upright to test if it has solved the issue! i will report if this solves my problem.

Not on a fan heater, if they glow there is insufficient air flowing over the element

Do the elements glow when it is running if so there is a problem with the blower motor,it could be that the blades need cleaning or the bearings need lubricating
