Mend Heritage Series Dial Electronic Turn

suck oven dial?

I have an old heritage series electronic ignition range/oven. The dial on the face will not turn. Itried to apply a little force but was afraid to turn any harder. I took the dial off and sprayed on a little WD-40 with no results.
Any advise.
