Miele WT 2670 drying cycle?

This machine works well in washing but no longer drys at all and the washing is cold. Could this be the heating element(s) failing? On the dry cycle the read out seems to freeze at 12mins remaining, but the clothes are still cold and damp. Any ideaqs to repair much appreciated.
