The macerator was blocked by tough hand wipes but after clearing the motor 'hummed' but would only spin if it was given a 'push'. The macerator blade and pump impeller have been removed and the bearings given a dose of WD 40 but no improvement has been made.
Replace the capacitor 440 volt ac 10, 12,14 or 15 Farrad will do the job the cap can get damaged if the machine has been jammed for a while and overloaded try Maplin or RS for the cap
