Philips DVDR610 with disk stuck inside. Blocked?

Philips DVDR610 could nor push out the tray. Took the front off and and used a pin at the small hole to release the Draw. There is still a foult-- even if I got out the disk. The tray will only close-not open . Tray mechanism seems to slide ok.
when switch open /close in the front is operated. display says Blocked. I think this should be possible to play a DVD without remote control- which was
eaten by dog
