beko washing machine wmb81241lw filter is stuck?

The machine was tick, ticking and drum full of water so I've emptied the drum but the filter will not budge. I've removed the cross head screw and tilted the machine at 45o angle to try to dislodge anything all to no avail.

if you can't get the filter cap off you may have to remove the filter housing with pump and try clearing the blockage that way.pushing and pulling the filter can sometimes make it work free,Good luck.check it more often in the future ;-)
