How do I replace the thermostat on a Samsung SR44RMB?

You have to remove the light cover to access a screw; remove it and the other two on the back panel (hidden under caps.) Then remove the whole assembly and peel off the backing plastic (double sided adhesive tape)The thermostat (temerature sensor) is clipped into part of that assembly. It can be removed from the plug and purchased separately. I know this following two weeks of getting nowhere with Samsung and its so called service providers.
