Mend Daewoo FRS2031 Ice Door Freezer

Daewoo FRS2031 ice making gone haywire?

I opened the door of my freezer today to find ice everywhere in the machine. It would seem that the water that feeds the ice maker has been permanently running with the ice holder full to the brim with solid ice and ice everywhere in the freezer where the water has run and frozen. Cleaned and turned water supply off and freezer working fine.
