By passing digital timer?
Hi, have just found this forum and wondered if I had done the right thing.
The digital timer on our leisure professional 1100 (at least 14 years old) gave up the ghost and we could not set the time so nothing worked, finally figured out how to take the front to bits and got to the timer which more or less fell to bits as its mainly plastic and the PCB was all burnt and brittle, the Blue wire connectors just fell off the board as did the Yellow/Red ones.
To get the ovens working I used a connector block to connect the brown wires to the yellow/red ones - I made an assumption that the yellow/red ones were connected to the solenoid controlling the gas and the brown ones were the main feed - Blues were left connected together.
All wires are insulated to make safe.
I see from other posts that just taking the Blues off the board should make the ovens work - just wondered if I should have not connected the Browns to the yellow/reds.
