what does symbol mean on lcd display on my whirlpool washing machine ?

hi ive got a red mesh circle on the top right hand corner of the lcd display and the machine wont drain any water I have fitted new drain pump still no joy the model is a whirlpool 6th sense awo/d 8708 .
