Hotpoint aquarius wml540 is leaking and has filter cap problems?
wml540 just started leaking front left corner. It was bought 2nd hand 6mths ago and we found a small hole in the door seal but this has never been a problem and on checking the seal the hole is no bigger and no others have appeared. So I tried to check the filter but on loosening the cap it wouldnt come off and also now wont retighten. I have no idea how to remove the hose behind the cap. Any suggestions as to what may be causing the leak and what to do about the loose filter cap. Thanks.
try useing TEC 7, sealant , on the door leak, as for the filter , try pushing it in as you tighting it, or use a screwdriver behind the cap as you turn it to take it off , its sounds like its off the tread as you tryed to put it back on , but it should come off with a little force,,
