Mend Ford Fiesta Starting Problem Fuel Engine

R Reg Fiesta 1.2 Vtec will not start?

I think my Petrol Pump may have gone as it turns over. Sometimes if I hit the petrol tank it will start.

Any advice would be welcome.

Yep sounds right.if you put ignition on and can't hear the fuel pump run, but will if you bang fuel tank then it's kaput, you will need to remove fuel tank to acces the pump and be cairfull not to damage seals or the screw retainer ring,mark position for eas of re fit
