Mend Russell Hobbs 18491 Steam Iron Glide

No steam with Russell Hobbs Steamglide iron 18491?

I have just bought a Russell Hobbs Steam glide iron 18491 and when I press the steam button the picture on the LCD shows steam but there is none coming from the iron. There is water in the tank but it fails to start the motor to send steam.
