Mend Vauxhall Corsa C Engine Overheating

my corsa c sound like a london cab?

hi i have changed my water pump changed oil & filter flushed engine and yet my top half the engiine gets realy hot and the knocking and tapping gets louder when you rev the engine running out of options dont know what to do cost me a fortune to get to work can anyone help my car is a vauhall corsa 53 reg

seems to be common problem on 1.0 dohc corsa, mine has been sounding like a diesel for the last 50000 miles
now 95000 on clock, noise seems to come from timing chain

mine sounds exactly the same.
almost like a diesel?
its horrible.
no idea if it can be fixed, seems to be common.
i'm just gunna save up a few £ and part exchange it for a newer one.
