Mend Diplomat APM8552/2 Blockage Drain Filter

Intergrated Diplomat APM8552/2 washing machine?

machine not emptying after an over night wash.Removed the kick board and removed the filter/drain bottom right.It was blocked,cleaner and removed the blockage.Tried running a spin,but now none of the programs run.The machine is making noises as though tying to run the program but there is no movemant.
any help please...???
p.s the machine is eight years old.....is it just passed it...???
