Mend Bosch Wff2001 Cycle

What does it mean when the wash and rinse lights flash on my Bosch WFF2001?

When i turn the power on , select the cycle and press start nothing happens. If I press the start button again nothing happens for about 30 seconds then the wash, rinse and start lights all flash.
