whirlpool 6th sense wfs1071aw water fills then lights flash and stops?

Had a reasonable sized load on and it got to spin then 2 lights came on, the spin light and light between spin/drain comes on. Machine stops and start light flashes (while other 2 lights are solid)? Press start light, it drains and goes back to wash light.. Starts to refill then stops and rinse and light between spin/drain comes on again after a minute or two (drum does not rotate - however it does move freely when you rotate it manually). I have cleaned pump filter too. Can hear a ticking sound whilst water coming in, like it's thinking about rotating!! But nothing happens. Any troubleshooting advise?
