Ariston mba 3842 c : fridge not working freezer working?

I have just been given an ariston MBA 3842 c.

The freezer section works fine, but the fridge does not.

I have gone through all the mode functions and turned the holiday setting off, and checked that it states fridge on.

The fan at the top is not going.
