How do I change battery?

When I change battery will I need to reset my zones or will that be the same

Should be the same.

Mains off first before you open the control panel.

Just replace like for like observing correct polarity.

Connect new battery.

If the bells ring then enter your user code.

Refit the control panel lid.

Restore mains power.

Enter user code to clear the tamper or press reset depending on make/model of panel.
