Mend John Deere 100 series J Riding

fix steering J> Deere riding mower?

I have a John Deere 100 series 2012 riding mower. When I turn to the left it kind of clicks/clunks but the wheels don't turn.

Steering gear/Steering sector teeth are striped. I have had the same problem five times now. Just had to replace both parts and bushings. Steering is a very bad problem on all these LA100's series
