How to change Tanaka strimmer pull cord?

Have looked at pull cord device and cord appears to be attached to centre of unit. Not sure how you change it?

usually the string is tied on by a knot on the end of the string pull the knot it should release it then keep the recoil still replace string then release recoil if the string has broke you will need to rewind the recoil before tying the string on
