Zanussi FLS883W skips through the program's quickly?

On some zannussi machines this problem happens if the magnet in the tacho generater becomes loose, there is no speed control on the motor so it attempts to roar off at top speed and the control unit aborts the program. The tacho generator is on the idle end of the motor, when the magnet comes loose it forces the tacho coil off. (look for a castellated ring on the floor, it holds the coil in the end of the motor) Cheers
