Mend Aiwa DXM-77 Hifi System Player

Compatability?

Hi,
I have an Aiwa hi-fi system with a defunct DXZ-95 cd player. I have been offered an Aiwa DXM-77 cd player (both have an 11 way ribbon cable for power etc) and wondered if they are compatible.
