Hotpoint BD32 double oven clock clicks every minute. How to stop it?

That clicking noise is bearable but it onterferes with my radio sound making it impossible to listen to good music and to conversation which is onterrupted sometimes at critical momenst. Not life-threatening but would like to get rid of that click noise every minute.
