The video output from the recorder has mutiple screens (3) of the same image that are also skewed on the diagonal. This is for the DVD output and the cable pass-through. The audio is fine. What is involved as far as a repair? It is a Panasonic DMR-ES20S
This is not necessarily a fault with your recorder. You will need to enter into the menu and check that the output is set to PAL (hard to do while looking at three screens). If set to auto or NTSC, it may not display properly on a PAL only television. If your TV was multi-system, you would probably not see this happening. Cheers.
