Solution 6+6?

I'm having problem returning it to factory settings.
We have not been left any codes by the previous
Home owners.I have tried holding down the default
Buttons while removing all power.
It appears to respond to the default but it is not accepting
The factory codes and remains in its present state.
A neighbour who has the same alarm also offered his help
Is also bewildered as to why.
Assistance in this matter would be much appreciated.
Thankyou.

Well if the technician who last had contact with it hasn't left his contact details then it's a new panel I'm afraid,

Speak to EDM for a replacement or if now obsolete an upgrade.

Sorry that's as much as I've got to offer on this subject and as said before good luck what ever you decide :)

We did wonder if a technician had done this.
Ripping it out as you say would mean the entire
System would have to go which is a costly expense.
Is there any other way you know of without having
a replacement.
Thanks.

That's an Australian panel.

well I've never heard of one until today so I've read through various engineering documentation that we have access to and all seem easy enough.

Unfortunately I can't offer a solution to your "solution" because we don't give out defaulting methods on an open forum such as this.

I did find a programming command in engineering which when enabled by the installer locks the panel and is identified by four clicks of the relay as apposed to two.

If this applies then it says "the panel will have to be returned for a replacement",

if you are following the method exactly as the book says then it's locked :),

In my opinion you have two choices here:

1 rip it out and fit another system

2 rip it out and fit another system

Good luck :)
