H20 and tap icon on after moving drainage pipe straight to manhole?
Our hotpoint WD860 has recently been moved as we have now located the manhole and have put the drainage pipe straight into the manhole. Previously we were moving the drainage pipe and putting it out of the window in our garage! However, it now will not work and the tap icon is on and the screen says H2O. Is there a problem with us leading the pipe straight into the manhole? Many thanks
water will run out as fast as it enters which makes the machine think it is leaking and will eventually time out with an error code to say the water level wasn't reached within the set time.H2O

the end of the drain hose has to enter a standpipe and when pushed down be higher than the centre of the drum otherwise it will syphon
