Switch off RDS on a Peugeot 307 cc?

Does anyone know how to switch off the RDS on a Peugeot 307cc & make it stay off???? I can deactivate it from the radio menu but when I switch the engine off it comes back on again. I just can't seem to get it to permanently deactivate
