Hotpoint Aquarius DWF40 dishwasher?

I've come home this evening to find that my dishwasher won't do anything, although it was working fine last night! The "drying" light is on constant but none of the other cycles work. Have tried unplugging the machine, and simply switching it off. Nothing works! Would be very grateful for any advice.
