Mend Candy Aqua 1000 Blocked Washing Machine Water

soap drawer seems to be blocked?

we have a candy aqua 1000 washing machine.the soap drawer is permanently full of water .when we switch on , the water cascades down the front from the soap drawer and seems not to go down into the drum? .have poked gently down where the water goes ,no obvious blockage,also have upturned machine and released clips on the various hoses ,no obvious problem.any suggestions ?
