replaced belt on dryer forgot where the wires go?

If it's a switch with just two wires and two terminals to connect them to then it will not matter how you connect them.

If - on the other hand - you have two wires already joined to the door switch and you want to know where the other end of the wires should attach then I can only guess the electronic control board (PCB).

You do not mention the make and model of your dryer.
