Mend Binatone MA760 Phone Time Charge

Binatone ma760 ?

Haven't used phone for quite some time. Have put phone on charge for 24 hours . Red light on when phone on base. Green light comes on when phone not on base. Screen on phone is blank. Should I be doing anything else to switch it on? Any idea what is wrong?
