I know most of the time these are straight forward but my van has a riveted metal plate covering the rubber where the door locks.
I assume I need to drill the rivets out to remove the plate to feed the seal round the frame but how can I then replace the plate, would glue hold it or does anyone have 'a cunning plan' ?
