troubleshooting for a PRO OE4BS-41?

I programmed this alarm system to specs, and it does not work, the lights flicker when I try to lock/unlock but that is it. It tried to start, on it's own, without touching anything, and a security light lit up on the dash but did not start, we used the key to unlock the door, now it doesn't do anything. The door does no unlock from the outside on the passenger side, could that be what the problem is?
