Yep, I'm rapidly learning why I wouldn't want to earn my living doing this! lol.
Truth is I pulled the breather pipe off the draw carcass. It is REALLY difficult trying to get it back on since there are bits of plastic in the way. I figure that, during manufacture, the hose must be connected onto the carcass before it is put into the machine (it is no problem putting the other end of the hose onto the drum case). So best to remove the carcass, put on the hose, then reassemble.
While the carcass is out I can take the top off to see if there is any obvious reason why the machine does not take fabric conditioner from the draw (it never has since I bought the machine 2nd hand last summer). If I see a blockage I can clear it. However, perhaps the blockage that I have already cleared from the air chamber was affecting the conditioner before the blockage got so bad as to cause the machine overflow?
Finding a catch under the carcass is difficult (I don't seem to be able to feel one). So, how do I remove the facia? I have undone the clips along the top edge, but somehow the facia is held in place at the bottom too.
Connor.
