Mend Sony TA-AV601 Sound Volume Knob

sony ta av601 no output please help?

I have a sony ta av601 amplifier that will not put out any sound. The light on the volume knob is blinking. I have cleaned and re-installed the equalized jumpers. That fixed the problem yesterday but will not today. Please help. Thank you George
