Mend AEG 50700 Favorit Machine Minutes

Favorit 50700 dishwasher pauses?

After starting the machine may pause intermittently - usually around 85-87 minutes but sometimes later in the cycle. Displays error C2 or sometimes C1. Press the relevant programme button and it continues. Sometimes stops again after a while, sometimes continues to end of programme. Still washes OK.
